EFL Learners’ Attitudes towards Cooperative Learning in the Writing Skill

Abstract
Cooperative learning is an effective modern learning style. It includes small group’s work that implies individuals of divergent abilities to accomplish specific group goal. This study investigated Kordofan University (Sudan) EFL students' views on learning writing skills through cooperative strategies. The researcher adopted both descriptive and analytical methods and a questionnaire was employed for data collection. A random sample of (41) EFL learners out of (55), in the Faculty of Education, responded to the questionnaire. Frequencies and percentage values were utilized for data analysis. The study has found that the majority of the participants were in favor of cooperative writing learning strategies via positive interactions, individual accountability and group processing.
